You can download the app (Takes forever!) then open then just goes white and static!

Metro has a cool story, decent shooter-style game with some stealthy aspects. In my opinion, it has elements of bioshock mixed with fallout. Also, the game ran smoothly on my 1.5 year old, 13 macbook pro, and Ill be the first to admit that I dont take the best care of my computer (took forever to download, though). The price is a little high. Id recommend buying it for ps3 or xbox (if available), so you can trade it back for store credit when youre finished. But having it on my laptop was nice because I could play at work!

have the newest imac and i have been trying to download it for 6 hours and still nothing

When i Get to the game’s main menu i cant see anything. All i see is white blobs everywhere please fix this

Even on lowest settings it looks great. No stretched textures or anything like that. The only problem I have with it is that other characters seem to be able to just walk through you during scripted events and it looks really funky. Other than that, no problems, it’s a blast to play, probably how I’m going to occupy myself on a plane tomorrow.

does not work on mavericks

Whenever I load up the game it just turns into a white screen. I can see the subtitles and the cutscreans perfectly, but i can play the game. I’ve tried to download the game again, but it didn’t help

All I wanted was a game where I could go in and start leveling people. A quick easy way to relieve the days stress. Not the case with this Oh yea, the game loads and speaks the Russian accent stuff. You can go down into options and chose around. But thats it. When yoiu go to actually play the game the screen is, the best I can say is patchy. you see light and color in several patches on the screen . If I try to use the controls to move around I can tell something is happening underneeth the black which is on the majority of the screen. The patches are disjointed and unique of one another. What a waste of my money. and do you think there is a way for me to recover ANY of it? Probably not.

When u bought the game i was so exited but then i clicked on the app saw the intro and then … when i get in the game all the textures are horribly messed up i cant even play the game i checked online and found no others with this problem i was frustrated this game needs improvement i hate it only because i was looking very foward to playing this game and it didn’t work i wish i could get in contact with the makers and make them give my money back . >_<

Controls are not great, sprint often doesn’t work. Quite a bit of nothing to do time where characters just talk at you.

Multiplayer on this game would be great

Metro: Last Light follows the story of a young man named Artyom as he tries to save the human race. In this beautifully crafted game (which supports retina display) there is a very well thought out and immerseful storyline. Something to know for potential gamers… this is not a COD styled first person shooter where you have infinite health and mow down heards of enemies; rather it is a very slow-pased and realistic survival like game. I play Metro on a late 2013 Macbook Pro w/ Retina Display. I have 8 gigs of ram which easily ran the game but it is recomended to have a discrete graphics card like stated in the descrition to enjoy the full benifits of its futuristic graphics. I strongly recomend to purchase this game as its storyline and looks will blow you away… (nothing like this can be found on the App Store exept for something like Tomb Raider). A little note: spoiler alert. I recomend you to read about this game (both the book and research on MetroWiki) because there are little extras like moral points which can change how the game plays out because this is a somewhat non-linear game :). I strongly recommend to any serious gamer out there looking to add something special to their arsenal and I would purchase the Ranger Mode DLC. Peace out - Anylist3xThreat

asome game !!!! so worth the money , at first i was a little skeptical on buying this but do not regret it at all

When most big name games coming out these days for Mac support the XBOX 360 controller (the most popular controller there is for PC/Mac gaming) it should be a given that other control intensive games follow suit. I’ve yet to play this game, even though I bought it back in January, along with some of the IAP. And I probably won’t,.

I had a great time playing this game untill I updated to the new IOS X and I can’t see anything on the screen. All I can see is a little bit of the screen and white blotches everywhere and I can’t move. DO NOT BUY IF YOU GET THE VERSION 1.3 ON IOS X!

when used on yosemite, there is a serious glitch and the mouse does not show up right and it crashes the game everytime, please fix this

this game i was having second thoughts about but now i am so glad that i got this because the graphics on this game are amazing

I was really siked to play it, but when opening it find many bugs such as missing texture, disoriented textures, buggy audio, and a bunch of “x”s everywhere. With all of these problems it made it impossible to play the game, even though i was very exited to play it…. Please update or something to help me!

I downloaded the game recently and when I opened it the crosshair/mouse was showing this weird distorted long x shape. I didn’t think too much of it, thought it was a weird crosshair, but noticed that picking up items and saving the graphics were distorted too (the hand and CD are sliced in half and sit opposite each other). I deleted the file and redownloaded it thinking that maybe it downloaded corrupted, but the issue is still prevlant. Not really sure what else to do, I would like to play the game, but if this issue is still there I would like my money back.

I bought this game because it was on sale and when i opened it the storyline at the beginning caught my attention but as soon as I tried to play it, all I saw was this big white screen and then blood splotches when i got hit. Once I exitted out, I found out I could not find a single menu button nor see anything on the front screen. If anyone knows how to fix this I would be happy to hear it but as of now I am very upset with this game.
