Metro: Last Light App Reviews

Horrible and buggy

The current version is buggy and unplayable. Enough said. Apple claims to have a great ecosystem but they lets apps like this onto the app store. This is part of why I use Windows most of the time.

needs VSYNC definitely

the only problem seems to be screen tearing since theres lack of Vsync the issue cant be solved because theres no way to enable Vsyc so horizontal graphical glitches are disturbing me. but other than that on a 2014 maxed out 15inch rmbp (GT750M) it runs ok with 70percent of the bar filled ...

Sighs heavily.

On a 13 inch macbook pro, this game WILL NOT RUN. don’t waste your money. it will load, the cutscene will look nice, but then everything will glitch out in the menu, support developers that can port good, not Deep Silver, who has constantly pushed out games that just don’t function.

METRO: Last Light (A.K.A Last time I’m ever buying anything from apple store)

I bought this game last night and it just (sucked), I downloaded and did everything sept by sept the game started up just fine but when I get to the main menu I can not even see the littering on the screen all I see are spots of white black and gray. So who ever made this game I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!!

One of the best games for Mac

This is one of my favorite games of all time. The story line is confusing at times but it adds to the mystery and makes you want to play more to find out what it all means. This game can be played two ways (depending on what you pick at the beginning). First if you like first person shooters, running in guns ablazing, this game is for you. Second if you like survival games, sneaking around to get by people/things, this game is for you.

Great game but there is a Bug now

I had the game and liked it when it was working, But now I just redownloaded it and the mouse/cross hairs are scrambled over the screen Please Fix so the Game can be Enjoyed again

Worth the $20, just one minor issue

I have a macbook air (early 2014 11-inch) 1.4 GHz Intel Core i5 4GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Macintosh HD Intel HD Graphics 5000 1536 MB. The game runs 60 frams per second with really amazing graphics. The combat in this game is great and the animations are really good. The story was also good. Overall the gameplay is fun. The only problem I have encountered were the crosshairs are messed up, the pause menu looks messed up, and the item icon and weapon selection looks messed up too. It wasn’t really a big problem for me since I know what the icons actually ment since I already played this game on PS4. Overall this is a great game and it is definitely worth the $20

Best FPS game on Mac, but there’s space for improvement

Metro last light is a game about an young man named Artyom tries to save the Metro that they live in. You have to fight some mutated monsters, and some human enemies. This game is not like Call of Duty, which is loud all the time. Metro last light gives me a quiet, horror survival feeling some times. The graphics of this game is like dead island, it’s playable using a mid 2014 mac book pro at about medium setting. ( I think its around 30 FPS ) Everything has a down side. First of all, the DLC of this game don’t want to download when I purchased it. I also studied the PC version of Metro Last Light, and I found out that there’s MSAA and FXAA in the PC version, but there’s no AA for mac. The graphics option became a simple bar instead of Low, Medium, or high. There’s also some annoy glitchs that made me stuck under the map. really want to smash my computer sometimes because I can’t play the Redux version with such graphics card.
